Jesus longs to awaken his bride and get her engaged in the harvest!
Imagine Jesus is holding out his two hands. In one hand, Jesus is holding his bride, the church, and he dearly loves her. In the other hand, he is holding the harvest, non-Christians. Jesus is the Lord of the harvest, and he came to seek and save the lost. But as Jesus looks at his bride, she seems a little drowsy, a bit sleepy even. Because of this, Jesus longs to awaken his bride the church, and get her engaged in the harvest, in what we believe will be the last great harvest before Jesus returns. I don’t know about you, but I find that image exciting! This is the inspiration for our ministry, AWAKEN & ENGAGE.
Our mission is to help people grasp and share the Gospel-love of Jesus.
The story of Jesus and what he accomplished for us through his life, death and resurrection is the most glorious news ever! Our first prayer is to see the church awakened, in a fresh way, to the riches of Jesus’ love!
So we’re on a mission to equip Christians with a quality explanation of the Gospel for two reasons: first, so that the church can more fully experience Jesus’ love personally, and second, so that Christians can more confidently share the Gospel with others! Our second prayer is to see God include us in the work of spreading the Gospel in cities throughout this region of the country.
You can call us a disciple-making ministry that’s one-part discipleship and one-part evangelism. We aim to serve local Churches, Christian organizations, and groups by offering two Gospel training workshops: Awaken & Engage. You can read a little more about those below.
AWAKEN Workshop
Are you feeling weary and hungry for more in your relationship with God? Have you ever wanted a deeper understanding of the Gospel and Jesus’ love for you?
