This truly is the best news ever! We want to help you more fully grasp Jesus’ love personally, and equip you to more confidently share the Gospel with others.
Jesus wants to awaken the bride and get her engaged in the harvest!
A few years ago, during a time of prayer, a really compelling idea came to mind. I want you to imagine Jesus is holding out his two hands. In one hand, He is holding his bride, the church, and He dearly loves her. In the other hand, He is holding the harvest, non-Christians. He is the Lord of the harvest, and he came to seek and save the lost. But as He looks at His bride, she seems a little drowsy, a bit sleepy. Because of this, Jesus longs to awaken his bride the church, and prepare her to engage in the harvest, the last great harvest before He returns. I don’t know about you, but I find that image exciting! This is the vision behind our ministry Awaken & Engage. Our mission, simply put, is to help people grasp and share the Gospel-love of Jesus.

GOSPEL TRAINING We want to help you grasp and share the Gospel-love of Jesus
There are 3 major components to our ministry: Gospel Training, Harvest Mobilization and Corporate Prayer. Our Gospel Training has 2-parts. First, it begins with a workshop. It’s kind of a one-day, “mini-retreat.” In the workshop, you will experience interactive teaching, group discussion, and prayer. We study through lots of Scripture together: The Gospel of Luke, the Gospel of John, Romans, Galatians, Ephesians and more. The 2nd part of our training is an 8-week study. You can do this study by yourself or with your small group. This will help you continue praying through and chewing on everything you learn at the workshop.
In our experience, the average Christian would really benefit from a better understanding of the Gospel. The Gospel isn’t just for non-Christians who need to hear it in order to come to faith in Christ. Grasping all that Jesus accomplished for us, and being rooted deeply in Jesus’ love for us, is how we grow and bear fruit in our relationship with God!

The goal of our training is to equip you with a complete, quality explanation of the Gospel for 2 reasons: first, so that you can more fully grasp Jesus’ love personally, and second, so that you can more confidently share the Gospel with others!
HARVEST MOBILIZATION We want to be part of the solution to the problem
The 2nd component of our ministry is what we call Harvest Mobilization. Once people are awakened to Jesus’ love in a fresh way, and they gain a renewed passion for the Gospel, we want to help them engage in the harvest. Research suggests that 50% of all non-Christians will never hear a Gospel explanation by attending a traditional Sunday morning church service. Think about that! How will those 50% hear the Good News of Jesus’ love for them? We must go to them! Jesus said, “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” We want to be part of the solution to the problem of too few workers. We plan to form small teams of people who want to spread the Gospel among their circle of influence, or within a specific segment of the harvest. These teams will meet on a monthly basis to pray for one another, to encourage one another and spur one another on as they take steps to share the Gospel with non-Christians.
CORPORATE PRAYER We’re devoted to praying for the church and the harvest
None of this will happen without prayer, which is our 3rd component. In Acts 6:4, it says the ministry leaders devoted themselves to prayer. A few verses later, we read that the result of their prayer was the Gospel spread and disciples were multiplied. We believe corporate prayer is the foundation and fuel of any movement of God. We host a weekly prayer meeting where we pray for the church to be awakened, where we pray for non-Christians by name to come to faith in Christ, and where we pray for more workers. And we are encouraging all Christians to join us in these corporate prayers!
So those are the 3 components of our ministry: training, mobilization and prayer. We truly believe Jesus wants to awaken his bride, and get her engaged in the harvest.
